Privacy policy

snuepi.ai (company being registered) is the controller for data about users of snuepi.ai and about buyers who use the buyer page and the network directly. For data a supplier enters about its own customers and buyers, the supplier is the controller and we are the processor.

2. Legal basis

We process data to perform the agreement for the Service (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), to meet bookkeeping obligations (c), and on our legitimate interest in security and abuse prevention (f). An anonymised copy of onboarding data is used to improve the model only when the supplier has consented (a); consent can be withdrawn at any time.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell data or share it for marketing. A request is shared with the suppliers it is sent to, and a quote with the buyer it concerns. We use these sub-processors:

  • Fly.io — hosting of the application and database (servers in Stockholm, Sweden)
  • Cloudflare — encrypted database backups
  • Scaleway (EU) — the language model that reads requests, catalogs and invoices
  • Stripe — payment of the fee
  • Google — sending email, and calendar if you connect it
  • Sentry — error tracking (technical error messages in the EU region, no customer content)
  • European Commission (VIES) and national business registers — VAT number and company lookups
  • Systems you connect yourself, such as your ERP, store or product feed

Some providers have US ownership. Any transfer outside the EEA relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and we have a data processing agreement with each provider.

4. Retention

We keep data while the account is active. You can delete the company and all data yourself under Settings; deletion is immediate, and backups are overwritten within a few days. Buyer requests that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days. Signed agreements and invoice records are kept as long as bookkeeping rules require.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, data portability and to object under the GDPR. You can download and delete your data in the Service yourself. You can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work. Contact nkoller@snuepi.com to exercise your rights.

6. Cookies

We use one necessary cookie for login, and remember your language choice in the browser. No tracking or marketing cookies.

7. Security

Passwords are salted and hashed (scrypt). API keys are stored only as hashes, and links to quotes are random and unguessable. Each business's data is kept separate, and all traffic uses HTTPS.
