Is it really snuepi?
For business owners, their staff and their customers.
snuepi will never ask you for
- your password — not by email, phone, text or chat, and not “to verify your account”;
- a card number, bank login or a payment to a link in an email;
- a code we texted or read out to you. Those codes are only for you to type into snuepi yourself;
- remote access to your computer, or to install anything.
If someone asks for any of these and says they are snuepi, they are not. Do not answer; tell us at nkoller@snuepi.com.
How to check an email
- It comes from our one sending address, as “snuepi” or “Business name via snuepi”. Replies go to the business, not to us.
- Every link in it goes to snuepi.com — never to another site, and never to a payment page somewhere else. A deposit link opens your booking page on snuepi.com first.
- Every email ends with “How to check this email is from snuepi”.
- When in doubt, don’t click: type snuepi.com into your browser and sign in there. Anything real is waiting for you there too.
How to check a call
An AI assistant that calls a business through snuepi says a six-digit code at the start. Staff can check the code at snuepi.com/check, using the business’s own number or its check link. No code, or a code that does not check out: you can hang up. snuepi’s own front desk never asks callers for a password, a card number or a code.
Businesses that are not who they say they are
A website or phone number in a business profile counts only once the business has proved it controls it. Agents that look a business up by its number or website only find the business that proved it, and a business cannot take deposits for a website or number another business has proved. If someone lists your business, you hear about it from us.
AI agents that are not who they say they are
Anyone can call their software “ChatGPT”. snuepi only treats an agent as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and so on when the operator proves it — with a signed request (Web Bot Auth) from the operator’s own domain, or from the addresses the operator publishes. Names written with look-alike letters are stopped. Everyone else is served as an unnamed assistant, and the customer confirms the booking themselves.
